Rubber compounds: silicone, fluoro, synthetic and natural rubber compounds

Fluoro rubber compounds

Mescole in Gomma siliconicaThe fluorocarbon elastomers, better known as FPM or FKM, are characterized by carbon-carbon linkages in the polymer backbone.
Most Commercially available fluoroelastomers consist of copolymer and terpolymer of vinylidene fluoride (VF2) hexafluoropropylene (HFP) tetrafluoroethylene (TFE) and in very special applications other monomers are added.

Given the excellent thermo and chemical resistance, these polymers are used mainly for making compounds that are used for fabricating technical articles such as seals, hoses, tubing, shaft seals, o-rings or, in general, when the customer has to guarantee the compliance of the
articles in harsh environments such as mineral oils, hydraulic fluids, fuels, aliphatic, chlorinated aromatic hydrocarbons, solvents and chemicals.

Mescole in gomma fluorurataThe performance of the products made with Fluorocarbon Elastomers renders them suitable for application in situations with temperatures ranging from - 25°C to + 240°C. In static conditions, the functionality is guaranteed in temperatures below - 45°C.

The principle applications include those in the electronic, aerospace, nuclear, automotive, nautical, militant, and energy industries.

In short, there exist no other materials with degrees of isolated
electrics, chemical inertia, and mechanical resistance at high
temperatures comparable to those found in these products.
MESGO S.p.A, working in partnership with prestigious industries
and university laboratories, is able to provide a full range of compounds that not only will comply with customer and industry specifications, but will also perform according to different production methods.
