Rubber compounds: silicone, fluoro, synthetic and natural rubber compounds

Synthetic and natural rubber compounds

Mescole in gommasintetica e naturaleRubber is a raw material whose principal characteristic, thanks to its molecular structure, is the elasticity it gains after vulcanization.

Thanks to its elasticity, it can be compressed, bent or wrung without the loss of its original form. This is the reason why rubber polymers are called elastomers.

The first raw material components necessary for the production of the rubber compound are elastomers, divided into natural and synthetic rubbers.

Mescole in gommasintetica e naturaleNatural rubber is the only naturally existing elastomer obtained
from the dryest of the lattices extracted from certain kinds of
trees.

Synthetic rubbers are elastomers produced by synthesis. There
were studied with the goal of satisfying the growing market need
for a better chemical resistance to high and low temperatures
and aging caused by atmospheric agents.

In addition to silicone and fluorinated rubbers, MESGO S.p.A,
thanks to a constant research, is also able today to supply a vast
range of synthetic rubber compounds including EPDM, NBR, CR,
HNBR, ACM, AU, ECO, EU, CSM, AEM, and also a vast range
of natural rubber compounds made with NR, SBR and SN, that
have the capacity to satisfy the technical specifications and
processing necessities of its customers.
